We stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner on the way home from Chepstow. The staff were friendly. The menu was varied enough to find something fir every taste. The menu was "all day", so my husband was pleased he could have a cooked breakfast. The atmosphere was relaxing, with music in the background. Food was quick, tasty & reasonably priced. Views over the river and beyond were pleasant from this high vantage point, in the main restaurant. Curious and interesting decor featuring motorbikes and sport.

Called in today after being prompted by fellow bikers. Really glad I did, great "table service" by staff that we're too willing to help. Food and coffees served fresh and hot at prices that didn't burn a hole in the pocket. This place is an absolute "must" to visit if you're in the vicinity. This is strategically placed for many bike rides and there's no doubt it will go from strength to strength as the weather picks up. Well done to you all, will see you again in the very near future. 10 out of 10 !

Stayed here a little while ago when visiting the area for a few days and unfortunately forgot to write a review! Lovely place to stay, great location and welcoming atmosphere for solo travellers - the owners are lovely and have great humour. They were mid-renovation when I visited and I got an older room but it was comfy, clean and having a little balcony overlooking the river was amazing. Food and beer were decent price and fab quality too. Will definitely be back next time I travel South.

Amazing affordable food, friendly service, unbeatable views! Always playing lovely music. The rooms are very clean and can't be beaten for the price (this was cheapest room we could find for our trip to Abergavenny) - some minor upgrading could be done but then the price will need to increase. So actually very happy with it how it is! We've already stayed twice and will recommend

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. Great service, food came out fast & piping hot, but the best part was they even brought out a sausage & some water for my dog. Highly recommend this place, I’ll definitely be back!

Roadhouse Llanwenarth is one of those places that quietly earns your loyalty. The food is hearty, well cooked, and clearly made with care. Portions are generous without being over the top, and everything arrives hot and full of flavour, exactly what you want from a proper roadside stop. It’s particularly well suited to bikers, with easy access, plenty of parking, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a popular stop on a ride out. The vibe is relaxed and friendly, whether you’re popping in for a quick refuel or settling down after a longer run. Staff are down-to-earth and approachable, the sort who make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. It’s also spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a no-nonsense feel that fits the place perfectly. A solid, dependable stop for locals, travellers, and bikers alike. Definitely worth a visit.

Called in on the off chance whilst my car was in the garage just up the road. What a find, fantastic quality coffee (not out of a machine), great quality food from local suppliers & the warmest welcome. Where your calling in for a quick coffee & cake, breakfast which I can highly recommend or lunch you will not be disappointed. Plenty of parking & great deco with a roaring fire on a cold day.
